BIFS is a non-profit organization established in 2003 to bring thought-provoking alternative films to the island community and to encourage an appreciation of motion picture as an informative and educational art medium.
What you need to know:
- the last Saturday of each month at 7:30 pm
- doors open 1/2 hour before showtime
- concession open before/after shows
- discussions with filmmaker(s) may follow
- limited seating - arrive early!
- improve seating comfort - bring a pillow
- facilities for the hearing impaired available
- reserved tickets for members available by phone (604-947-0450) and held until 7:15 pm
- 10% of all door admissions donated to Bowen Island Performing Arts Centre Fund
In order to comply with distribution rights for public screenings, Society membership is required for admission.
All members must be over Age 18.
