An Inconvenient Truth

In this documentary, director Davis Guggenheim eloquently weaves the science of global warming with Al Gore's personal history and lifelong commitment to reversing the effects of global climate change. Gore presents a wide array of accessible and compelling data to explain how pollution has wrought more drastic changes in a few decades thanthe earth has seen since the last ice age. This is, however, not a story of despair as you might think, but rather a rallying cry to protect the earth we all share.

95 minutes. Rated PG.

"In 39 years, I have never written these words in a movie review, but here they are: You owe it to yourself to see this film. If you do not, and you have grandchildren, you should explain to them why you decided not to." - Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times
